RETROMODERN TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Delivery: In rare occasions delivery can take up to 4 weeks however we will advise you if your delivery date is expected to be later than usual.

All deliveries are curbside, that is, to your (ground floor) front door only. If you live on the first floor or above the delivery is likely to cost more. Should you want to keep this cost to the minimum please organise for yourself and another person to take it from the driver curbside and carry it up to your house. For heavy or bulky items you may need help to carry the furniture inside which also keeps the costs down.

Large Items: In some cases with large items special delivery conditions may apply. The costs incurred are an extra $200.00 (approx) per item, and will add a few days onto the delivery time.

Condition: Our items have been restored to a high standard however with all vintage and pre-loved pieces the buyer must expect a degree of wear and tear.
Returns & Exchanges: After receiving the furniture, if you are not satisfied, please return it in its original condition and packaging within 7 days for a full refund (excluding delivery costs) to the address on your invoice. Once we receive the returned products we will issue your refund within 24 hours.

Please note that the buyer is responsible for the cost of returning goods to retromodern and the handling costs incurred in the delivery of the new item. Any loss or damage to returned goods during transit back to retromodern, is the responsibility of the buyer.

Unrestored Items: Payment of your deposit confirms that you agree to the design of your unrestored piece  of furniture. Design details as per invoice description, image and email correspondence.

Cancelled Orders: Projects that are cancelled at client’s request, after acceptance by paying the deposit and prior to completion, will be invoiced for any work or expenses completed up to that point. At a minimum, a percentage of the deposit will not be refunded and will be considered payment for work undertaken for quoting, creation of design concepts, communications and materials and labor. Failure to complete payment will result in your item being retained by retromodern.
